There are barely half as many companies scheduled to attend today's job fair as there were last semester. There will be 58 companies on campus to recruit new employees today compared with 104 last semester.

Nancey Bernard, director of Career Development Services, said companies are still coming to Auburn to recruit students, but they don't anticipate hiring as many.

Students with majors in accounting, engineering and computer sciences have the greatest chance of finding a job in today's market.
