Brandon Scott Maluff, a 19 year-old political science major, was killed in a car accident on Wire Road about 7:30 Thursday night. Maluff was the passenger in a 1994 Jeep Wrangler when it collided with a 2003 Ford Explorer.

The driver of the Jeep was treated for non-life threatening injuries, and the driver of the Explorer was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
