An article published in the LA Times this week states that love, not academics, is the major cause of stress among college students.

Stress among young people is blamed on the questions all young people face, regardless of whether or not they attend college: Who am I? What will I do with my life? The report even indicates that stress levels of young people who do not attend college are actually slightly higher.
