| Josh Hughes -- 6 October 2008 As my father watched the replay of the Auburn/Vandy game he noticed something that I too had picked up on during the original telecast. The more Auburn's offense struggled the more the defense seemed to get down on themselves.
I can't say that I blame them. When you consistently keep the opposing team out of the endzone, but your offense can't score either you are stuck in a stalemate. A lot of the guys on the defense seemed to be not giving up, but just giving a "here we again" attitude.
You can't scrap your offense in the middle of the year. I'm no coach, but I watch a lot of football. If the Tigers want to have a chance of winning any of there remaining games outside of Arkansas and UT-Martin they need to play Chris Todd and only Chris Todd. They need to run the majority of their plays from the I-formation and pray for the best.
On an unrelated note.... O.J. Simpson is finally going to jail! And the Cubs are back where they belong...at home in October.
